Box Breathing at Boardmasters...

At Boardmasters we invited festival goers to have a go at 'Box Breathing'. A simple but powerful relaxation technique that can be used in everyday life wherever you are. 

Anyone can do it, we demonstrated with 4 second intervals but you can try 5 or 6 if you like.

 

Just breathe in for 4 seconds, hold your breath with your lungs fully inflated for 4 seconds, breathe out for 4 seconds and then hold your lungs exhaled for 4 seconds...repeat...

Surfboard Signing...

A huge highlight from our week at Boardmasters was seeing our handmade surfboards being filled up with 'gratefuls'. 

Over the course of the week we asked festival goers to write down one thing that they were grateful for. It was amazing to see how quickly everyone filled up the space.

 

We had all sorts of things people were grateful for, from partying next to the ocean to a little girl being grateful for unicorns :)
