The Global Organic Textile Standard (GOTS) is a textile certificate that limits the use of toxic substances and other chemical inputs during the production process. To be awarded the GOTS certificate a product must: contain at least 95% organic fibre, not be treated with bleach, formaldehyde or any other toxic substances.

OEKO-TEX is a system that certifies the safety of a product and textiles. It shows that a company will test all of its fabrics, threads, buttons and all other textile products for potentially harmful and dangerous substances.
